Dilip Parikh

Dilip Parikh, a founder member of Parikh Mehta & Associates, is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in the field of finance and accounting. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India, having qualified in 1975, and holds a Master of Commerce degree from M.S. University of Vadodara. He is also a certified 'Peer Reviewer'.

Before starting his professional practice, Dilip Parikh worked for Gujarat State Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited for 9 years. He also served as a lecturer at M.S. University of Vadodara for over 25 years, teaching subjects such as Income Tax, Audit, Accounts, and Taxation. Additionally, he worked as a Chairman of Vadodara Stock Exchanges for 3 years.

Dilip Parikh has around 45 years of experience working with large corporates and SMEs, providing consultancy services and strategic advice to assist in their business development. He is an expert in strategic advisory for business planning & development, tax planning & advisory.

Furthermore, Dilip Parikh is deeply committed to giving back to society. He is the Managing Trustee of B. M. Parikh Foundation Trust Hospital and has been running a 35-bedded multispecialty hospital for charitable purposes for the past 20 years. He also provides monetary help to deserving students through various educational trusts. Currently, he serves as a mentor for all the partners of the firm and is instrumental in guiding the firm towards progress.

Late Sachin Mehta

Sachin Mehta was one of the founder members of Parikh Mehta & Associates. He was a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India since 1986 and he founded Parikh Mehta & Associates in 1992. He was a Master of Commerce from M.S. University of Vadodara. He possessed a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) and Certificates on International Taxation and Concurrent Audit from ICAI. He was an expert in the Income Tax matters and well experienced in all types of Bank Audits.

Besides his impressive professional credentials, Sachin Mehta was known for his honesty, humility, generosity, and politeness. These traits made him a respected member of the firm and the wider professional community.

Sachin Mehta left for his heavenly abode on January 17,2020. His legacy of high professional principles and values continue to guide the firm in its endeavors. The memory of his contributions and dedication to his work will be cherished by all who knew him.

Heena Desai

Heena is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant since 1988 and joined the firm as a partner in 1998. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Law from Mumbai. Additionally, she has completed a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from ICAI and is also a certified Peer Reviewer. Heena is partner-in-charge of Vasna Branch of the Firm.

Heena's areas of expertise go beyond routine accounting and auditing services. She has a keen interest in advising clients on major business decisions, preparing project reports for tender evaluations and bank finance, statutory and tax audits, project financing, and drafting skills. Heena is an expert in bank audits, including statutory, revenue, and stock audits. She provides top-notch direct tax advisory services and represents clients before tax authorities. She has assisted corporates in setting up Management Information Systems and implementing SAP systems.

Rupesh Chokshi

Rupesh Chokshi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 2000. He merged his proprietary firm with PMA and joined as partner in 2010. He holds a Masters of Commerce degree from M.S. University of Vadodara, with specialization in Accounting and Financial Management.

Rupesh specializes in cross border transactions and acts as an advisor and consultant to both international and domestic clients. His areas of expertise include expatriate taxation and cross border taxation, transfer pricing study and compliances, interpretation of DTAA, direct tax related issues, corporate and personal taxation. Rupesh provides virtual CFO services for foreign subsidiaries in India offering a comprehensive solution for all compliances, making a significant contribution to our firm's global presence. Rupesh is also experienced in bank audits and statutory audits.

Currently, Rupesh is in-charge of human resources management, labour compliances and other statutory requirements of the firm. He ensures that the PMA team is equipped with the latest updates.

Ashish Parikh

Ashish Parikh is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India who qualified in 2004 and became a partner in the same year. He holds a Master's degree in Commerce from M.S. University of Vadodara. He is the Managing Partner of the Firm and leads it from the front.

Ashish specializes in internal and risk-based audits and has a certificate in Internal Audit Studies by BCAS. He also has a deep understanding of Goods and Service Tax laws. Additionally, he provides advisory and support services to companies that are preparing for public issues.

One of Ashish's notable achievements is his development and implementation of customized Software as a Service (SaaS) for big organizations, contributing to the digital transformation of India. He has worked on various projects and held multiple higher management positions where he has provided strategic, managerial, and decision-making inputs to maximize productivity in Vadodara's established organizations.

Ashish has also served as the Chairman of the Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI and is a faculty member for Orientation Course and Advanced Management and Communication Skill Course for students aspiring to become Chartered Accountants.

Apart from his professional accomplishments, Ashish is actively involved in philanthropy and associated with several NGOs and charitable institutions in the region. He also serves as the Managing Trustee of the Narhari Hospital.

Ashish's defining characteristics include his vibrancy and enthusiasm. In his pursuit of a healthy work-life balance, Ashish follows his passion for playing Saxophone and Tabla. He also inspires and encourages the article assistants of the office to pursue their interests.

Tejal Parikh

Tejal Parikh is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having qualified in 2001 and becoming a partner of the firm in the same year. She holds a Master's degree in Commerce from M.S. University of Vadodara, and a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA). She is also an IBBI Registered Valuer under ICAI RVO.

Tejal has extensive experience in Finance, Management Information Systems, Project reports, and formulation of policies and procedures for facilitating Internal Financial Controls for large Corporates. She specializes in audit and assurance services, leading assurance engagements for private, public, and not-for-profit organizations, ranging from small local organizations to multinational corporates. Her expertise in business valuations including valuation of start-ups make her a valuable member of the firm.

Tejal takes active interest in the management and overall administration of the firm. She is known for her guidance to CA students in paper presentation and examination preparation and seeking discipline from them to achieve their goals. She is also in charge of publishing monthly “articles by, of, and for articles”. Her passion for professional and spiritual reading inspires the firm's team to develop the same.

Neeta Ladha

Neeta is a Commerce Graduate from the University of Mumbai and a Chartered Accountant since 2004. She has been associated with the firm since 2009 and was promoted as partner in 2018.

With over 18 years of diverse experience, Neeta specializes in managing direct tax compliances, tax advisory, and assurance, as well as tax and statutory audits for both large and mid-size corporate and non-corporate entities, including firms and trusts.

Neeta's expertise extends to advising clients on tax issues and representing them before tax and appellate authorities up to the Tribunal level. She has successfully handled several tax litigations matters of varied and complex natures. Neeta brings to table valuable experience in developing and implementing tailor-made direct tax software packages for overseas clients as per the applicable laws.

Karan Gujarathi

Karan Gujarathi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, qualifying and practicing since 2011 and later merged with PMA as partner in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from M. S. University of Vadodara.

With more than 12 years of experience, Karan's areas of expertise include Indirect Taxation, and representing clients before tax authorities. He looks after Assurance & Statutory audit of Corporate & HNI clients ,project report preparation, Company secretarial compliances, FEMA compliances, and specific projects like Fixed Assets register implementation. He also manages the Indian subsidiary of Foreign Companies along with providing management accounting & payroll services and his experience with IRIS and CCH software adds significant value to our clients at the firm.

Shreya Shah

Shreya Shah is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has been associated with PMA since 2012 and became a partner in 2019. Along with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from M.S. University of Vadodara, she has also completed a certificate course in concurrent audit conducted by ICAI.

With over 7 years of experience, Shreya's area of practice includes Assurance & Statutory audits of corporates and non-corporates, Concurrent & Revenue audits of Banks, and Income tax including tax representations before tax authorities. She is also involved in tax advisory services such as providing opinions on specific direct tax issues related to corporate and personal taxation, foreign remittance by Indian entities . She also manages the Indian subsidiary of Foreign Companies along with providing management accounting & payroll services.

Her meticulous attention to detail in executing work is a notable contribution to the firm.

Komal Goswami

Komal is an accomplished professional who qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016. She also holds a Master's degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from ICAI. In 2020, she was promoted as a partner of the firm, thanks to her impressive dedication and professional attitude.

Komal is responsible for overseeing the Corporate Tax practice of the firm. She has experience in handling assignments related to statutory audits and tax audits for both corporate and non-corporate clients. Komal is also adept at advising clients on major corporate tax issues and representing them before the tax authorities. Her knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, coupled with her attention to detail and analytical skills, make her a trusted advisor to the clients.

Komal has worked on projects involving strategic and managerial decision-making, which has further enhanced her skills and expertise.

In addition to her tax expertise, Komal is passionate about IT systems and security, and has played a crucial role in the implementation, support, and process improvements through system controls at the Vasna branch office.

Anita Kapdi

Anita is a professional with 23 years of experience in the education field, who obtained her Chartered Accountancy qualification in 2016. In addition to her professional degree, she holds a degree in Law from Mumbai University and a Master's degree in Commerce from Gujarat University. Anita joined the firm as a partner in 2020.

In a short span of six years as a CA professional, Anita has developed an impressive level of expertise in the area of indirect taxation particularly GST . She has assisted clients on GST compliance matters , litigations related to Service Tax and GST and has handled GST audits and assessments. Anita has also successfully managed and conducted Risk-based Internal Audits, Process reviews, and designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for corporate clients.

She has a talent for in-depth analysis of complex legal issues, which lends authority to her opinions on the subject. Her excellent communication skills enable her to articulate her views clearly. She is passionate about using technology to automize routine jobs and continuously upgrades her skills.

Anita participates in various activities of the Vadodara Branch of WIRC of ICAI. She is a member of the editorial team of the branch's newsletter for the year 2023-24 and also a faculty member on GST-related topics.
